While spending time on the outskirts of Belgrade, I documented life within a Romani community living in temporary structures and surviving through scrap collection. Despite facing poverty and social exclusion, the residents displayed extraordinary resilience, multilingualism, and pride. These portraits offer a glimpse into a marginalised world shaped by improvisation, familial strength, and the enduring hope for dignity.
