Rikshaw
Katmandu has some of the worst air pollution in the world. The Humble Rickshaw offers a fun, green way of getting around. The Rickshaw drivers of Katmandu Nepal are consider amongst the poorest socio-economic group in Nepal. The Work is unreliable, tourist dependent but also very physically demanding. The authorities have designated no-entry areas in many areas where tourist would most likely want to visit. As a result I asked each driver to take me to a local place, and treated the Rickshaw as an experience in its own right rather than a mode of transport.
