On a sunny Sunday, commissioned by the Woodland Trust, I joined a group of volunteers in Kent for a day to document their search as they looked for an undiscovered V1 bomb.The un-piloted V1, also known as a Doodlebug, was shot down by Polish pilots into Packing Wood in 1944, thwarting its attempt to bomb London.
